Description:

Take My place amongst men.

"Consecration" is used in the Catholic Church as “the setting apart for the service of God of both persons and objects”.6 Consecration is also the term used when bread and wine is sanctified to become the body and blood of Christ.

This station is when we are called to a vocation and consecrated to God for the purpose of serving as His priest. The message “Take My place amongst Men” is the role that a priest should fulfill.

Symbolisms and meaning of the sculpture:

Tabernacle

Bread and wine and two angels

Menorah (lamp of God)

The New Ark of the Covenant

"During the Old Testament, The Tabernacle was the dwelling place for the divine presence. It had an inner shrine (Holy of Holies) housing the Ark of the Covenant and an outer chamber (Holy Place) with a menorah, table for showbread, and altar of incense. Inside the Ark of the Covenant were the ten commandment tablets.

The Holy of Holies was covered by veil, and only the High Priest could enter once a year on Yom Kippur (the day of atonement), to offer the blood of sacrifice and incense before the mercy seat. Judaism regards the Holy of Holies as the place where the presence of God dwells.
